Weight Divisions

Teens (13 to 17):

  Under 115: Lightweight
  115 to 129 Welterweight
  130 to 149: Middleweight
  150 to 169: Light-Heavyweight
  170 to 190: Heavyweight
  Over 190: Super-Heavyweight

Men:

  Under 145: Featherweight
  Over 145 to 155: Lightweight
  Over 155 to 170: Welterweight
  Over 170 to 190: Middleweight
  Over 190 to 220: Light-Heavyweight
  Over 220 to 250: Heavyweight
  Over 250: Super-Heavyweight

Women:

  Under 120: Lightweight
  Over 120 to 135: Welterweight
  Over 135 to 150: Middleweight
  Over 150 to 170: Light-Heavyweight
  Over 170: Heavyweight

Competitors are placed in competition pools according to their level of experience, which
is determined by years of training and is based on honor system:

  Under one year: Beginner
  Over one year and under three years: Intermediate
  Over three years: Advanced

Honor system means that competitors will compete at a level that is challenging for them.
If you have been involved for a long time inconsistently, you may select the level you feel
is applicable to you. You are encouraged to consult the tournament officials if you are not
sure about your level.
