Alex Sensei

Kodokan Judo Instructor

Duane Alexenko began studying Judo in 1965 while teaching nursing in Guam. He taught along side Kato Sensei at Umpqua Community College for over twenty years. He also served as the Nursing instructor at UCC. He carries with him a rich history of Judo and other martial arts he has experienced in his lifetime. He retired from UCC in 1997 and handed over his position as assistant instructor to Larry Keith. Alex Sensei still resides in Roseburg when he is not traveling abroad doing missionary work. Currently Alex Sensei is teaching our North Slope Kids Judo program.
