Alex Sensei

Assistant Instructor

Duane Alexenko began studying Judo in 1965 while teaching nursing in Guam. He taught along side Kato Sensei at Umpqua Community College for over twenty years. He also served as the Nursing instructor at UCC. He carries with him a rich history of Judo and other martial arts he has experienced in his lifetime. He retired in 1997 and handed over his position as assistant instructor at UCC to Keith Sensei. Alex Sensei still resides in Roseburg when he is not traveling abroad doing missionary work. Currently Alex Sensei is teaching our Judo for Kids program.
